Short Led Trail Rides
Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced rider, you are able to enjoy a short led trail ride at Jeu de Cheval.
Boasting beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere, our property is a place on which you can forget your troubles and reconnect with nature.
You will need to allow between 1 to 1.5 hours. We cater to all experience levels and ages.
Beginners - all ages welcome
If you are a beginner, then you will enjoy our short led trail ride. This involves a short lesson in the arena covering stopping, steering, and moving forwards. Once everyone is comfortable, we go for a trailpony ride around the property. Each horse will have a handler, and those who feel confident with stopping and steering will be able to come off the lead (though someone will still be nearby). The ride goes for roughly 40 minutes, depending on the number of customers on the day.
You need to wear enclosed shoes and long pants. Helmets are provided. The weight limit for these rides is 100kg and when booking we need a rough weight and height measurement so we can fit you to the horse.
Please note that this ride is on the property only, as we do not take commercial trail riding.
