NON-RIDING TASKS - ever wonder what your child does when they aren’t riding? We generally have a focus each week that varies from fun activities (like pony pampering) to the not so fun activities (like weeding and picking up rocks). The plan is to give your kids a proper understanding of what caring for horses really looks like (the free labour is just a bonus :D). Each group today made feeds for certain paddocks and removed hazards (big old rocks!) Bronze: make main herd feeds and rake rocks in Tradie’s paddock Purple: weed bottom arena and make oldie’s feeds Blue: in charge of Tinsel’s paddock - making their feeds and raking up the rocks Red: in charge of Dixie’s paddock - making their feed and raking up the rocks Yellow: in charge of pony feeds Green: make feeds for Tradie’s paddock Silver was only one student, and so she became an assistant instructor for the day.
